So I just finished my first week of school, and it´s officially weekend! Classes were actaully really fun, even though I do have a lot of homework. I´ve been trying to stay cool and it´s been fun this week to get to know my family a little better. The oldest brother is Joel, then Jabes, then Jair. I share my room with Jair, and it´s pretty convienent to sleep in hammocks because you put them away during the day and have a very open room ;)
Not too much out of the ordinary has happened. I go to class on a bus, come back, talk, do homework, and I do a lot of eating too. The food here is very different than what I´m used to, and they eat on a different schedule. We eat breakfast about as soon as we get up, and we have sandwiches and quesadillas, and stuff like that. Then we have something simmilar for lunch, normally with some sort of meat, around 2, then dinner around 10. Kind of a crazy schedule, but it works.
Well, I´m off to the beach!! Hope everything is going well for everyone as preparations are made for school too! Hasta luego!
