So about this time last week, my body decided to get sick. It was no fun for the night, but then it was gone. I think it was something I ate :) But other than that, this week has been really good; really busy, but really good. I have had a lot of homework, but for the most part it has been interesting. The only thing with it all being in Español is it takes about three times as long to read everything (and understand it), and the same with writing. But I like the challenge. I´m learning sooo much!
Today I also had the oportunity to go to a school for special needs kids calles Sol y Luna. It´s a really cool place where I´m going to do some volunteer work. It´s especially cool because there is someone with my major there, and I´m going to be watching a speech pathologist in Spanish! Should be fun!
And it has officially been a month since I arrived! The time has flown by, and I am truely blessed to be here. My family here is fantastic, and I can´t imagine the trip without them. Not only are Joel and Jabes characters and make me laugh allll the time, but Jair has become a really good friend, and I know I can talk to don Venus and doña Marbella about anything. It´s funny to see the corelations between my family here, and the best part is their lives are completly devoted to Jesús!!
